Cosmeston Lake
Cosmeston Lake is a pieceful place to visit with family as it has a nice lake with wildlife within it. The history of why it is a tourist attraction in wales is due to when it was a busy limestone quarry which supplied stoan for Cardiff. When the quarry ended back in the 20th century the site flooded naturally. Creating the lakes we know of today it is really interesting for a day out with families due to the mass amount to explore.
Pen-Y-Fan
Pen Y Fan is the tallest mountain in South Wales with a height of 886 metres. The landmark has been poplar amongst tourists, Farmers and the military. As of today Pen Y Fanis one of the most popular walking destinations. The walk may be long and hard but once suceeded you have a nigh view of the landscape below. Pen Y Fan is used for military practicies as of today often see military planes swerving in and out of the mountains.
Porthcawl
Porthcawl is a classic Welsh seaside town/holiday resort. Portcawl is popular amongst families and tourists for it's sandy beaches, and holiday resort owned by Park Dean Resorts. Porthcawl has landmarks for history from the lighthouse and places like cony beach and rest bay. Porthcawl is a short ride from Cardiff and is popular fot the beach days, walking trails and general day out for families and tourists.
Snowdonia National Park
Snowdonia National Park is Wales largest and most dramatic protected lanscapes, home to the rigged mountains, glacial valleys and the countries highest mountain peak names Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon). which was established back in 1951. perfect for families and tourists popular for the hiking trails, adventure and natural landscape visuals. You hav e2 choices take the long walk up the mountains or take the train that takes you up the mountain. The train was built to help aid accessibility for disabled people or people that have difficulty walking far distances.
St Faggans
St faggang has a great history the location is also known as the land of time as the buildings there go back to victorian times before comfortable living enviroments were a thing. In St faggans there is a house called the houses of time these are houses that start from victorian era and as you progress through the houses you can see the different things each centry impacted living from wooden furnature and coal fires to the toilet being out in the garden called the Ty Bach to the modern 20th centry with comfortable sofas, beds and central heating this is what we have today.
